The capsule collection is composed of recycled polyester elements, of new generation, obtained from used plastic bottles and transposed into pieces with luxury design. Eclectic, incorporated in a creativity capsule, Hope advances the concept of sustainable fashion that respects nature.
20,000 plastic bottles recovered from the oceans and transformed by innovative technology were used throughout the Hope collection. For example, for the print of a single Hope T-shirt I reused 5 plastic bottles, while a jacket incorporated 12 plastic bottles.
Recycled print defines the DNA of the Viggo Hope T-shirt – the recovery of technological waste and its reuse in an innovative way. Polyurethane waste is selected and processed by hand to recreate colorful patchwork decorations, enriched by subsequent laser processing.
Craftsmanship and creative spirit meet in the luxury material woven in Italy by the manufacturer Bonotto. Viggo Hope jackets, tops and pants are made entirely of 100% recycled post-industrial polyester.
The plastic is recovered and recycled to give a new life to the material, through intelligent technology. The process is certified by the Global Recycled Standard, a guarantee of the transparency of the production chain.
The recycled Bonotto Italy material from the Hope collection is Global Organic Textile Standard certified. GOTS is the highest certification in the textile industry, internationally recognized as the most difficult to obtain because it verifies not only the origin of the fibers, but also the entire production process. Bonotto materials for Hope contain at least 95% organic fiber, are not treated with toxic substances, are colored with non-toxic paints and are produced with care and respect for nature and employees.
