Get ready to see the Universe from a whole new perspective. Because this autumn at AFI Cotroceni, life is in motion even light-years away.

From September 14 to 23, daily between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, join us in the Ice Rink Area for Planetarium – Journey Through the Universe, a panoramic full-dome experience designed for children, teenagers and adults. Beneath the planetarium dome, the projections surround you completely, turning every screening into an immersive adventure through space.

Three journeys for different ages

The Magic Rocket – recommended for children aged 3–8
A first adventure through space alongside lovable characters. Little explorers will discover planets, stars and the mysteries of the Universe in a fun and easy-to-understand way.

Legends of the Starry Realm – recommended for children aged 8–14
A fascinating journey through a world of stars, mysteries and captivating stories, where imagination meets interesting facts about space and celestial bodies.

From Earth to the Universe – recommended for ages 14+
Set off on a spectacular journey from our planet into the vastness of space, discovering planets, stars, galaxies and fascinating cosmic phenomena along the way.

An experience that puts you right in the middle of the Universe

The planetarium features an 8-metre inflatable dome, specially designed for full-dome projections. Images cover the entire surface of the dome, creating the feeling that planets, stars and galaxies are moving all around you.

With a capacity of up to 50 people, the space is suitable for families, organised groups, schools and private events.
